Kleaarity ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it, in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
1. What personal data we collect
From website visitors and clients:
Your name, email address and website URL when you fill in a form
Information you choose to share about your business, customers and goals
Communications between you and us
From research participants:
Your name and contact details, so we can arrange sessions
Your answers, comments and behaviour during research sessions
Audio, video or screen recordings of sessions, only with your consent
Automatically, when you visit our website:
Basic usage data such as pages visited, device type and approximate location, collected through cookies and analytics tools
2. Why we collect it
We use your personal data to:
Respond to your enquiries and deliver your free mini audit or paid services
Plan, run and analyse research sessions for our clients
Send occasional website tips and updates, which you can unsubscribe from anytime
Understand how our website is used, so we can improve it
Meet our legal and accounting obligations
We only collect what we need, and we don't sell your personal data.
3. Research participants
If you take part in a research session:
We will explain what the session involves and ask for your consent before it begins, including consent to record.
Your feedback is used only for the specific client project you took part in.
Clips or quotes are shared with our client only with your permission, and we remove identifying details wherever possible.
You can stop a session or withdraw your consent at any time.
Recordings are stored securely and deleted within 12 months of the project ending.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with trusted service providers who help us run Kleaarity, such as:
Squarespace, for website hosting and forms
Google, for Google Workspace, Google Drive and Google Analytics
Mailchimp, for email updates
Zoom / Google Meet, for online research sessions
Some of these providers may store data outside Singapore. When that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your data is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA.
We may also disclose personal data where required by law.
5. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies to make it work properly and to understand how visitors use it, through Google Analytics. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through our cookie banner, and you can clear cookies in your browser settings at any time.
6. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law:
Enquiries and mini audit requests: up to 2 years
Client project records: up to 5 years, for accounting purposes
Research recordings: deleted within 12 months of the project ending
After that, we securely delete or anonymise it.
7. How we protect it
We use reasonable security measures to protect your personal data, including password-protected accounts, two-factor authentication and restricted access to research recordings.
8. Your rights
You can:
Ask what personal data we hold about you and how it has been used
Ask us to correct inaccurate data
Withdraw your consent at any time, for example by unsubscribing from emails or asking us to delete research recordings
